Peter Peter Picks a Pumpkin House

I received three advance copies of Peter Peter Picks a Pumpkin House (Henry Holt and Company) in the mail yesterday and am so happy with the little chapter book! It’s written by Christine Graham and I did the pictures. It should be in stores in August sometime. Here’s the jacket copy so you can get an idea of what the story is about: (click to enlarge)

PW’s Spring 2009 Flying Starts

Our own Roseanne Parry was a pick for Publishers Weekly’s Spring 2009 Flying Starts, which highlights standout first books. Roseanne’s Heart of a Shepherd, Random House, Jan. 2009, is receiving rave reviews and has been optioned by Tashtego Films. All of us here in Portland are so proud and happy for Roseanne! David Small’s Stitches

David Small’s much-anticipated graphic memoir, Stitches
was apparently the belle of the ball at BEA in May. I’ve
got three copies (one for me, two as gifts) reserved on
powells.com. It will be available September 8th.
Visit David’s website for a preview and other links.
