Susan is thrilled to announce that she has signed a contract to illustrate the Rainbow Street Shelter Series of chapter books written by Wendy Orr (author of Nim’s Island), published by Henry Holt and Company. The series centers around kids adopting pets from an animal shelter. Susan has wrapped up the illustrations for the first book and it should come out in 2011.
